Clean Water in Abuja

The video and photos above show one of the wells at Anawim Home Orphanage in Abuja. One of the orphanage's wells has been repaired and another dug to provide water to the Sisters, children, and young mothers. We've also sent additional funds to repair and clean the entire water system at Anawim, which includes several wells, tanks, and pumps.

Also, we have undertaken a few other projects, including a well at a satellite location of Anawim Home in Kaduna, where the Sisters provide a residence for the mentally ill of the community. We are also funding a border fence on this property to provide security for the residents and their water source.

As you may remember, we have also committed to providing water at the Hwol Yarje School, which is part of Faith Alive Hospital, in Jos. Currently, we have put that project on hold due to civil unrest and violence in the region. However, we are continuing to pursue this projects and a few others with Dr. Chris and Faith Alive Hospital.

We are also looking into other projects with both of our partners, including a hostel and skill acquisition center for unwed mothers and medical supplies for the hospital. We will continue to provide updates as they become available and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support.
